Units are used to organize related lessons within a course.
They help structure the learning experience, making it easier for participants to navigate and for admins to manage content.
This article walks you through creating a unit that can later be added to a course.
Before You Start
Before creating a unit:
Make sure you understand the Training Content Structure
Review the Training Module Onboarding Checklist if you’re setting up training for the first time
Creating a Unit
From the Simulations Labs Dashboard, click Units in the sidebar.
Click Create Unit.
You will be redirected to the unit creation page.
On the Create New Unit page, fill in the following details:
Name – Internal name for the unit.
Title – Displayed to participants in courses and training events.
Sort Order – Determines the order in which units appear within a course.
Lessons – Select the lessons you want to include in this unit. You can add or reorder lessons later.
Thumbnail Image – Optional image to visually identify the unit.
Cover Photo – Optional image for the unit page.
Description – Optional summary of what the unit covers.
Save the unit.

Once your unit is created, you can:
